The Hiwonder ESP32-S3 Development Board is built around the ESP32-S3 core module and integrates a wide range of onboard components, including a temperature sensor, combined light/infrared sensor, 6-axis accelerometer, microphone, and speaker. It also supports external peripherals such as a 2MP camera, PWM and bus servos, and an HD LCD touchscreen. With onboard USB, I²C, and serial interfaces, the board enables flexible expansion and secondary development, covering essential requirements for control, display, storage, and connectivity.
Designed for multimodal AI applications, the board integrates text, voice, and vision AI engines, with support for switching between popular models such as DeepSeek, Qwen3, and DouBao. It enables smart chat, environment perception, and object recognition, while allowing AI personality, tone, and knowledge to be customized. Dozens of voice options and support for over 30 languages make highly personalized AI interactions possible.
Offline firmware flashing enables WiFi video streaming and offline AI vision interaction without cloud dependency, supporting applications such as color recognition, face detection, and line following. The comprehensive tutorials and hands-on projects, from beginner to advanced levels, help accelerate large-model applications and spark creative AI ideas.
