Superb new X series v3 motors from SunnySky have improved heat dissipation, better efficiency and greater power output over the original X series. These are genuine new SunnySky motors including standard manufacturers fittings and NSK bearings. The 1250kv motor is massively powerful with short shaft and bolt-on prop driver for aerobatic models up to about 850 grams or 3D models up to about 750 grams. This is the ideal motor for the Big Crack Beaver from Twisted Hobbys but is equally at home in many similar models up to about 44 inches in wingspan. It is happiest on 3s with 9-10″ propellers (we recommend only short bursts of full throttle when using 10 inch props) and can just about take a 30 second burst of full power and 40 amps. We would usually recommend something like a 10×3.8 on 3s with a 30-40 amp ESC. Careful throttle management with a 30 amp ESC helps to keep your plane lighter.
